Initiatives

Through our programs and initiatives, we aim to provide our members with the resources, skills, and support they need to make a positive impact in their respective fields. We also strive to create opportunities for networking, mentorship, and professional development, ensuring that our members are well-equipped to become the leaders of tomorrow.

Workforce Development

By investing in workforce development initiatives, we can ensure that the next generation of professionals have the resources and training they need to succeed in their careers. This will not only benefit individual members, but also contribute to the growth and success of industries that are responding to the climate crisis.

  • Identify and offer guidance to regional and industry ambassadors to serve as representatives within the group to support and encourage fellow members and set up virtual and in-person networking events.

  • Identify leaders and provide guidance for them to succeed in managing a cross functional team.

  • Deliver webinars and seminars on how to successfully recruit and retain Gen Z, how to establish successful internship programs, how to successfully use your network to acquire a full-time job, etc.

Collaboration

Collaboration is crucial for climate crisis responders because the challenges posed by climate change are complex and multifaceted, requiring a variety of expertise and perspectives to address effectively. By working together and sharing knowledge, climate professionals can develop more robust and innovative solutions to the problems we face.

  • Deliver expanded access for Gen Z through our member portal. Benefits of the portal include:

    • Centralized communications for Gen Z professions in industries responding to the climate crisis.

    • Idea and opportunity sharing.

    • A place to request support.

  • Create focus groups based on issues identified by group members. Groups will then work to develop research and guidance in the identified area. Examples could include cross-discipline crosswalks, internship program guidance, cross-sector involvement research, etc. These groups will create deliverables such as:

    • Webinars and Seminars

    • White Papers

    • Conference Presentations

  • Create opportunities for Gen Z professionals to share the findings of cross functional groups at industry conferences.
